Local shops
In Hambledon there is a small shop called The Peoples Market (Londis) just 15 mins walk along footpaths and/or country lanes 1/2 miles. Open 7 - 8pm (6pm Sundays), selling a good variety of veg/fresh bread, meat, coffee and sandwiches, and groceries including high quality frozen meals from COOK. You can also buy locally produced food including TOATS MYLK, Meon Chalk Stream Smoked Trout and Bowmans Ales

Denmead has a Coop with Cashpoint and Post Office, bakery, chemist, hardware store, fish and chips, garage and several others.

Clanfield has a very good butcher and green grocers both selling some locally produced products. Worth a visit on your way to the coast or to further South Downs Walks. See Butser Ancient Farm and Queen Elizabeth Country Park.

Petersfield has a mainline station (Waterloo approx. 1 hr), wonderful deli and bakehouse for treats - Madeleine's Kitchen, amongst other good quality shops, restaurants and coffee shops, markets every Wednesday and Saturday, and a farmers market on the first Sunday of the month.

There is a Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and M&S Food in Waterlooville, or Waitrose and Tesco in Petersfield.
