Market Garden
The market garden hosts volunteer days every Wednesday from 10am to 3pm. Please come along, and if possible let us know you are coming though our contact form. You will need to complete our volunteer form, it very quick and easy! If you can't do Wednesdays but you would really like to help, please get in touch as we could really use your help!
Produce is stocked in the Farmshop on the corner of Pithill Lane and Speltham Hill, along with TOATS MYLK or CHOC, whole guernsey milk, flour, honey, charcoal, and more, depending on seasonality and demand. The shop is restocked on Thursdays.
Our volunteer days can give you regular time outside, improve physical and mental wellbeing, provide a day with other like-minded people and help you learn new skills. Upon signing up to volunteer we will see what you would like to get out of attending our sessions, and help you achieve that.
Rushmere Market Garden is run by 'Rushmere Corner Community Interest Company', which means it is not for profit and is designed to be a part of and benefit the community. Our community are our volunteers and our customers both of whom we could not do without, and also, our community are groups of refugees based in Portsmouth, school groups from Hambledon, Horndean and Havant, and every person that walks past.
