Stewardship Membership supports the long-term care of Rushmere Farm and offers an ongoing relationship with the land, the food it produces, and the people who care for it.

Public Stewardship Membership Levels
🌱 Local Steward
For people who live nearby or regularly enjoy Rushmere and want to support the farm in a simple, practical way.
Includes:
- Access to selected weekly or fortnightly groups
- Access to designated stewards’ walks beyond public footpaths
- Access to the steward compost & green-waste drop-off
- Discounted steward rate on compost
- Participation in shared stewardship days
- Early notice of open days and seasonal events
- Member priority for camping
🌿 Engaged Steward
For people who feel invested in Rushmere and want to actively support the care of the land, community spaces and shared work.
Includes everything in Local Steward, plus:
- Monthly informal steward gathering at the farm

10% off all Rushmere products and services, including:
- Flour, grain and oat milk
- Therapies (including craniosacral therapy)
- Workshops
- Selected stays (outside peak periods)
- Invitation to Wild Rogues summer volunteering week
- Invitation to the Autumn Volunteering Week
- One reduced-rate woodland canopy booking per year
- Member priority for all accommodation
- Places held at Rushmere-run events wherever possible
🌳 Lead Steward (Limited number)
For those who feel deeply connected to Rushmere and want to play a meaningful role in its long-term care.
Includes everything in Engaged Steward, plus:
- 20% discount on all products and services, including therapies
- Priority access to accommodation, including peak periods where possible
- One reduced-rate barn booking per year
- One enhanced stay benefit per year
- Invitation to an annual Lead Stewards gathering
- Recognition as a key supporter of the farm
- Occasional involvement in longer-term stewardship conversations
Compost & green-waste access
Local and Engaged Stewards have access to a green-waste drop-off point at the farm for:
- Lawn mowings
- Leaves
- Garden cuttings
This material supports our compost systems and soil building.
Stewards can also access discounted compost for their own gardens.

Therapies at Rushmere
Rushmere hosts a small number of therapists offering work that aligns with the values of the farm.
Engaged and Lead Stewards receive automatic discounts on therapies, including:
- Craniosacral therapy
- Other bodywork or wellbeing practices based at Rushmere
- Therapists do not pay space rent for steward sessions, ensuring:
- Stewards receive consistent discounts
- Therapists are supported
- Stewardship is reinforced across the community

Join the Stewards of Rushmere
Whether you come weekly or a few times a year, stewardship helps ensure Rushmere can continue to be a place of food, nature, learning and community.

Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at george@rushmerefarm.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
