Workshops without borders
Rushmere Farm is working with Friends Without Borders and the British Red Cross to bring about a fun, and relaxing opportunity for refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants to get out of the City and into the country, to work on a project together, for the community.
On the last Friday of every month, throughout the year, come rain or shine we will be woodworking together at Rushmere Farm. Together we have made spatulas, spoons, stools and we hope to build a bench that can be taken back to Portsmouth. There will be time to chat, to learn about the land, native wildlife, and to get involved with other aspects of farming, growing, forestry and art.
