Celebrate the festive season by making your own wild winter wreath inspired by Rushmere Farm’s fields, hedgerows and woodlands.
Artist and maker Jemma Corbin will guide you through the process of making a foraged wreath from scratch, using wild materials gathered on the farm. You’ll learn how to construct a woven base and how to decorate it using wild materials and you’ll also get lots of foraging tips so you can gather your own materials in the future.
This session will suit those with any level of creative experience and you’ll be guided every step of the way.
The session runs from 7pm - 9pm in our barn and workshop space — we recommend you wrap up warm. Festive refreshments and all materials will be provided, just arrive, make and enjoy!
We recommend staying the night so that you can enjoy relaxing into farm/woodland life. We are also able to run tours of the farm, which is in the process of converting to organic methods, as well as the oat drink production facility.
